What is permanent eyeliner?
Permanent eyeliner comes in many shapes and forms and during the consultation we will discuss color, length, thickness, and edge: defined or faded. During the permanent makeup a Semi-Permanent pigment is placed along the eyelid according to eye shape and desired design.
Eyelash Enhancement Tattoo: Pigment is placed in-between lashes to give a fuller looking lash line in this permanent makeup procedure.
Classic or Winged Eyeliner Tattoo: Pigment is placed right above the the lash line.
Full Eyeliner Tattoo: Pigment is placed along the eyelid for a bold look.
Lower Eyeliner Tattoo: Pigment is placed between the lashes of the lower lid.
What should you expect?
Color and shape consult will take place and then the eyelids will be numbed prior to treatment. During the treatment, a slight pricking sensation will be felt. Immediate side effects following permanent eyeliner application include swelling that lasts anywhere from two to 72 hours after application. Bleeding and bruising also may occur after the eyeliner is applied. Also, the eyeliner color typically appears much darker for as many as 10 days after the procedure. You may also experience a burning, itching, painful or swelling sensation around the injection site. If this persists after several days, you should see a physician, as this may be an abnormal reaction.
